Bulawan Literary Journal of Northern Mindanao Issue 06 features the work of 11 writers from (or living in) Northern Mindanao. In this issue, we will take you to many places, among them the streets of Saray and a printing shop in Iligan City, a fictional Sitio where children sometimes mysteriously disappear, a train station in Vancouver where an Overseas Filipino Worker thinks about her family in Camiguin, and the streets, a , and a bar, a school (or two) in Cagayan de Oro City.

Bulawan is a multilingual journal published by Bulawan Books, the indie publication arm of the Nagkahiusang Magsusulat sa Cagayan de Oro (NAGMAC). It is one among many  NAGMAC-organized platforms for local writers to showcase their talents to an audience composed of creative enthusiasts who appreciate their work.

For this issue, we give you two options for the cover: a night-time walk through the streets of Cogon Market or a lighter version featuring the fountains and lights of Gaston park.
